Technoso Control Systems has been awarded the tender to install and manage its wireless, automatic parking systems throughout Tiberias, starting with three large parking lots.
The systems will be leased by the municipality, meaning no upfront investment or commitment is required. Additionally, Technoso will hold maintenance responsibility.
The parking systems offer a range of features including ticketless entrance terminals, ticket-recycle exit terminals (including use of recyclable discount cards), Pay on Foot machines (accepting cash, credit card, digital wallets, and payment apps Pango and Cello), LPR cameras, and fast barriers.
Technoso’s wireless parking systems offer a cost-saving solution to the municipality as they do not require special infrastructure or local/on-site servers. Instead, the cloud-based system and all parking lots can be controlled from one remote control center.
The ticketless system further saves the municipality money by removing the need for tickets, receipts, and printer maintenance and there is no risk of downtime from printer/ticket issues.
The city of Tiberias serves as a commercial and industrial center for the region and is a popular tourist destination due to its proximity to the Sea of Galilee.
