Israel’s leading public transit company Egged has chosen Technoso Control Systems to install ticketless parking access systems at many of its bus parking lots across the country.
Tens of bus parking lots will have the new systems installed, with six already up and running. The systems include customized tall ticketless entrance and exit terminals, fast barriers, and LPR cameras (with over a 99% recognition rate), making it easier and quicker for bus drivers to enter and exit the parking lot.
Technoso’s wireless parking systems provide a cost-efficient solution to Egged as they do not require special infrastructure, communication cable installation, or local/on-site servers. Instead, the cloud-based system enables all bus parking lots to be controlled from one remote control center.

Egged currently holds a 35% market share of Israel’s transit industry with an average of 4,000 buses transporting one million passengers every day.
